Investigating Quadrilaterals – Part 3

On analysing the properties of different quadrilaterals in Part 1 and Part 2,

(https://connect2context.com/2025/03/20/investigating-quadrilaterals/ and

https://connect2context.com/2025/03/26/investigating-quadrilaterals-part-2/)

here is a ‘Quadrilateral Classification tree‘ which would be helpful in understanding their grouping, when used in conjunction with the ‘Quadrilateral Chart’ table in the Part 1.

The above chart is read as ‘Square is a rectangle’; (the shape where the arrow mark ends is a subset of the shape where the line originates from – meaning ‘the square satisfies all the properties of a rectangle’ : ‘making the Square, a Rectangle too’!) but not vice versa.

With all these resources handy, learning/review of these concepts can be made fun by playing this BINGO game from youvegotthismath
