While the 76^th Republic Day was celebrated over the last weekend in a grand manner, it is customary for the parade on the Kartavya Path (road from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate in Delhi) to feature a tableau, designed to reflect a specific theme, showcasing the unique identity and contributions of the participating  states and union territories or ministries. The theme for each year’s tableau is typically announced in advance and often influenced by the participating entities.

This year’s theme is : Swarnim Bharat: “Virasat aur Vikas” meaning “Heritage and development”.
